Mangaluru: In a shocking incident, villagers in Ajjavara Village of Sullia Taluk have decided to boycott the polls as they have been demanding for pahani from decades.

The Mahamayi Temple in the village and the basement of the house of the 20 families living in the SC colony there still do not have pahani. The villagers have decided to boycott the polls.

The boycott comes as a fight against the administration and the people’s representatives who are adopting a delaying policy despite filing applications.
