Vittal: Days after the brutal murder of Korapady Taluk Panchayath Vice President Jaleel Karopady by motorbike-borne masked assailants on April 20, two motor bikes, two pairs of pants, shirts and two machetes were found nearby Muguli road in Korapady.
It is learnt that one among the two bikes found in Muguli belongs to Razak, a resident of Angri, Kanyana. It is also said that this bike had been stolen ten days ago.
It is speculated that these evidences may have been planted to mislead the police investigation in the case. Miscreants who attacked Jaleel rode Yamaha FZ military green bike and a black pulsar. Both the bikes found near Muguli are Bajaj Pulsar. The machetes found in the spot have no blood stains.
This unusual development in the vicinity has created suspicions.
According to unconfirmed sources, police have detained three persons in connection with the case.
