Kasargod: Five vehicles seized by the police in various cases were gutted in fire mishap at Chattanchal ground here on November 27.
Over thousands of vehicles seized related to various cases by the police in Vidyanagar and Bekal station limits were kept in a ground in Chattanchal. On Monday, several vehicles were found on fire. However, the fire personnel rushed to the site and avoided further loss.
Police are suspecting that miscreants might have torched the vehicles. Further investigation is on.
