In Mangaluru, a woman reportedly suffered injuries following an altercation with a neighbor over a dispute involving a coconut tree on Wednesday. According to her complaint, she had been overseeing the management of an areca and coconut plantation since her father’s passing. She accused her neighbor, MK Ummar, of behaving rudely and verbally abusing her regarding a coconut tree.

The altercation escalated, resulting in the woman being allegedly assaulted by the accused, leading to her hospitalization. Upon hearing her distress, her brother and another individual involved in coconut and tender coconut plucking rushed to the scene. Subsequently, a case has been lodged at the women’s police station in Dakshina Kannada.
