Udupi: Four vehicles have been completely damaged after a speeding car hit them. The incident took place at Uchila near Anafi Masjid on National Highway 66.
Two bikes were struck by a speeding Scorpio car driver travelling from Mangaluru to Udupi on the Yermal National Highway. However, the driver managed to flee.
Later, the same car struck a second scooter parked close to the Anafi Masjid as well as an Ertiga car. As a result Ertiga car rolled down, crossed the divider, and landed on the opposite side of the NH.
A scooter rider has been seriously injured and shifted to a hospital. Both the cars have been significantly damaged in the accident.
Police officers immediately arrived at the spot and are now investigating the case.
