Udupi: “The Congress government has no initiations of introducing effective schemes for the State rather they lean on the central governments driven schemes” said B.S Yeddyurappa speaking to the media at BJP office on Wednesday May 20.
Yeddyurappa said that most of the projects implemented in the state are the schemes of the central government; Siddaramaiah has been trying to divert and take credit for it, the ‘free rice to the poor’ also is a schemes made by the central government.
With regards to the upcoming GP election, he said that BJP is seriously looking forward for the election. All the BJP leaders have taken the responsibility to meet every worker and guide them accordingly. He also added that common man in the State are tired of the ignorant attitude of the government.
The road transportation system – Namma grama, namma raste – in the rural areas are complete mess. BJP government had sanctioned Rs. 5 Crore for the development of ponds in the villages but the scheme is still lagging behind. The state government is proved to be an anti-farmers and anti-minority government he added.
The unexpected climatic changes had caused heavy loss to the farmers in these areas; however the government has nothing to say about it, he agitated.
While answering a query, Yeddyurappa said that Rahul Gandhi’ is planning to have a press meet in every state to criticize Narendra Modi’s administration, he appealed that “Before organizing any press meet, Rahul Gandhi should remember the scams happened while congress rule like 2G spectrum, and coal scams etc. Let him first explain those corruption activities occurred while UPA government was in rule and then criticize Modi.
