Bidar: Free medicine kits distributed to 132 people

Bidar: As many as 132 tb patients, adopted by Dr. Gurupadappa Nagamarapalli Foundation, were distributed medicines, food and nutrition kits free of cost at the BRIMS Hospital here.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched a campaign to make the country TB-free.

Suryakanta Nagamarapalli, President of the Foundation, who is also a BJP State Executive Member who distributed the kit, said tuberculosis patients have been procured from the Foundation to join the campaign.

“Adopted TB patients will be distributed monthly medicines, food and nutrition kits for a period of six months by the Foundation. A two-month kit has already been distributed to the patients,” he said.
