Bidar: A sum of Rs. 17 Lakh Zilla Panchayat Fund has been allocated under the Swachh Bharat Mission Scheme at Kapalapura A Village in Bidar South Assembly Constituency and a newly constructed solid and liquid waste disposal plant at a cost of Rs. 3.4 Lakh was inaugurated by Bandeppa Kashempura, who is an MLA from Bidar South Assembly Constituency.

Speaking on the occasion, he said, “This is the first waste disposal plant that I am inaugurating in my constituency. This is a good thing to do,” he said and added that the Project Development Officer, President, Vice-President, and Members associated with the Panchayat have to work towards creating awareness and informing the people about it.

“The waste disposal unit has been made very neatly. Managing it is also very important. Everyone concerned has to work towards managing. Officials in rural areas have to work towards creating awareness and providing information to the people in rural areas,” he said.

“Construction is the first step. But the most important task us to dispose it,” he said.

“Project Development Officers, Chairpersons and Vice-Presidents should pay more attention to making a Model Panchayat, he said and told the officials and local people’s representatives that the work of making it a model unit should be done by the people of Constituency.
