Kalaburagi: The Bharathiya Janata Party (BJP) has filed a complaint against Kalaburagi MLA Priyank Kharge for allegedly making death threats to BJP leaders in Kalaburagi District while making a public speech.

BJP Taluk President Neelakanta Patil, who arrived at Wadi Police Station in Chittapur Taluk on the evening of Wednesday November 16 along with his party workers, lodged a complaint against MLA Priyank Kharge with the Station House Officer.

Kharge, who made a hate speech at a Government event in Wadi on November 10, had threatened to kill him by saying that if he made up his mind, he would not allow a BJP leader from Kalaburagi District to go out.

“A case should be registered against them immediately and appropriate action should be taken against them,” he said in the complaint.
