Hassan: MLA Preetham J. Gowda said, “Everyone is inspired by one or the other idea of Kuvempu.” He appreciated that it was a matter of happiness that his statue was unveiled in the College.
He was speaking after unveiling the statue of Kuvempu at the Government Arts, Commerce and Post Graduate College-Autonomous College premises in the City. The youth have to follow the path followed by Kuvempu, he advised and called on youth to take Kuvempu as a driving force.
District Vokkaliga Association President G. L. Muddegowda said, “I have read Kuvempu’s literature. His books should be read by the younger generation. He recalled his works such as Kanooru Heggadati, and Malegalalli Madumagalu by saying that knowledge should be increased. His ideals should be imbibed in life,” he said.
