Shivamogga: Ganesha elephant dies of ill health in Sakrebail camp

Shivamogga: An elephant named ‘Ganesha’ from Davanagere, who was unwell at the Sakrebailu elephant camp here in the District has died.

The elephant, which was owned by Senior Businessman and MLA Shamanur Shivashankarappa of Davanagere, was shifted to Sakrebailu elephant camp in 2013-14 due to ill health. The elephant could not even stand and was facing a lot of difficulties.

He recovered from the treatment and care he received at the camp and lived well so far.
