Shivamogga: Home Minister Araga reminds border Districts to remain on high alert

Shivamoga: Home Minister Araga Jnanendra instructed Senior Police Officers to be on high alert to maintain peace and harmony in the Districts bordering neighbouring Maharashtra.

In the wake of the incident in Which a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus was pelted with stones by some miscreants in Maharashtra, the minister spoke to senior police officials of the State and sought information about the steps taken to maintain peace and harmony.

State Additional Chief Secretary (Home Administration) Rajneesh Goel contacted the Maharashtra State Chief Secretary over phone and discussed the incident.
