Chamarajanagara: 5.12 Cr sanctioned for school room construction

Chamarajanagara: The State Government has sanctioned Rs 5.12 Crore for the construction of 105 school rooms in the District under Viveka scheme, said MLA N. Mahesh.

Speaking after laying the foundation stone for new rooms and inaugurating new rooms at Government SVK High School premises in the City, he said that sanction has been received for construction of 35 rooms in the Constituency.

The State Government has allocated Rs. 988 Crore for providing basic amenities besides imparting wisdom to school children. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has formally launched the construction of 7601 school and college rooms.
