Chamarajanagar: A five-year-old boy had a miraculous escape from death, a fate his parents did not share, when a tipper ran over the bike on which they were seated. The boy had left his parents on the bike on the side of the road to go and attend to nature’s call, however, when he returned, he found his parents dead.
Being too young, the boy did not know his parents were deceased and tried to wake them up.
Passers-by saw the boy trying to wake his parents and rushed to his aid. Residents from the nearby village of Mahe hunted the truck driver down and finally caught him and handed him over to the police.
The deceased have been identified as Madesh (50) and Mani (35), residents of Kagalavadi village in the Chamarajanagar taluk.
A case has been registered by the Chamarajanagar Traffic police and an investigation into the incident has been launched.
