Mysuru: Resident Doctors continued their protest for hike in stipend on Tuesday as well.
KARD members decided to continue the protest as they didn’t get any response from the concerned authorities officially.

“Yesterday, they were on duty as the admitted patients were in large numbers but the association has decided not to work, even the post graduate students / Interns will not attend the hospital work from September 1st”, said Dr Anudeep T C.

Doctors staged a street play based on their problems and issues regarding the hike in stipend.

The protest has led to a decrease in the number of patients admitted to K R and Cheluvamba Hospital, as compared to the number of patients last Monday, it has been reported.
