Mysuru: Following Supreme Court orders, 11 employees under the Mysuru palace administration board who were appointed illegally in 2008 have been suspended , said the Palace board director Indiramma on Tuesday.
Background
The Supreme court said that the then Deputy Director of the palace had appointed 11 persons in 2008 illegally. These employees have reportedly violated the court norms. Hence, it directed to have these employees suspended on January 30, 2016. Out of these 11 employees, two are dead and the remaining are retired.
“We have asked permission from the state government to appoint a guide and six D group employees out of those who have been suspended, as daily wage workers . After receiving a reply from the government, we have planned to hire them as workers on a contract basis”, Indiramma said.
