Puttur: Activists of a Hindu outfit saw a woman from Belagavi with a man from another religion near Manjalpadpu of Taluk on Thursday July 21.
The group handed over that person to police. The Hindu girl, who hails from Ganapura in Belagavi, was working in a fish company in Mangaluru and had come to work at a firm in Manjalpadpu of Puttur. Mukwe’s man from another religion showed her the address of the institution, it is said.
However, a Hindu outfit on suspicion handed over him to the Police for further investigation into the matter after he offered her a job and lured her to Puttur.
