Bengaluru: Kannada actor Dhruva Sarja, on Saturday did something special for the cause of the cancer patients.
The actor, who has been flaunting his long locks has got a hair cut after three years and has decided to donate the hair for the cause of cancer patients.
Posting a video, the actor spoke about how he was educated by his friends about the humane deed of donating hair.
“If hair is 10 inches long, then it can be donated and it could be used by young (under 15) cancer patients who suffer hair loss due to chemotherapy.” the actor said in the video and also urged others to do the same.
Sarja maintained a long hair look for many years as the shoot for his next release ‘Pogaru’ has been going on. However, on completing the shoot he decided to do something wonderful.
The video has already garnered over 4,20,000 views on Instagram.
Dhruva Sarja made his debut with the 2012 film Addhuri. He is the younger brother of Chiranjeevi Sarja, another popular actor who died on 7 June, 2020. He is also the nephew of Action King Arjun Sarja.
