New Delhi: On Tuesday evening, Instagram users voiced concerns about difficulties accessing the social media platform owned by Meta.
According to reports from users, there was a notable surge in complaints on Downdetector, a site that tracks outages, beginning at 8:27 pm. The number of users experiencing issues exceeded 10,000 worldwide.
As of now, Meta has not released any official statement regarding the reported problems.
Following the Instagram and Facebook service disruptions, users turned to X (formerly known as Twitter) to share their reactions. One user expressed relief after confirming on Twitter that the issue was not due to hacking but rather a widespread outage affecting both Instagram and Facebook.
