Mangaluru: Youth Red Cross, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), volunteers began their internship at Red Cross Help Desk, Government Wenlock Hospital Mangalore on 10 Apr. Dr K.R Kamath, Professor Department of Orthopedics briefed about the program. Prabhakar Sharma, Honorary IRCS advisory member conveyed wishes to Youth Red Cross volunteers. Raveendra IRCS member, Nithyashree B V Youth Red Cross Nodal officer, Dr Tariq Program officer Yenepoya Medical College and Youth Red Cross volunteers were present.
Nithyashree B V said that the Youth Red Cross Volunteers of Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) Constituent colleges will be in posting from 10 Apr to 10 Jun 2023. The students were oriented about the responsibilities to be taken up and areas of duty. The students on taking the hospital tour at the beginning shared a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards the program.
