Hubballi: The Hubballi Bar Association has withdrawn its resolution to not represent the Kashmiri students who were booked for sedition. It has said that any advocate who wishes to represent the three students can approach the Dharwad Principal District Court to file a bail plea.

It can be recalled that Basit Ashik Sophi (19), Talib Majid (19) and Amir Mohiuddin (23) were remanded to police custody till February 28, after they were produced before a court for shouting pro-Pakistan slogans in a video posted to social media on February 16. After the video went viral, the three were charged with sedition.

The students were in judicial custody since February 17, till they were remanded to police custody on February 25.
