Dharawad: “It is a matter of pride that Rs. 1,000 Crore has been announced for Mahadayi and Kalasa-Banduri Project works and farmers have been benefited by increasing the interest-free short-term farm loan from Rs. 3 Lakh to Rs 5 Lakh, said MLA Amrut Desai.
“A new scheme called Children’s Bus has been announced to solve the transportation problem faced by children in rural areas post-Covid.”
He said that the setting up of a sheep and goat unit at a cost of Rs. 355 Crore has been approved under the Amrita Swabhimani Shepherd Scheme. “In this way, all sectors have been given parallel priority in the State Budget and this is a model budget for development,” he said.
