Vijayapura: MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal on Monday October 10 said that there is no system of attaining power by paying money in the BJP.

Speaking to mediapersons, Yatnal said that our workers have direct links with Delhi. I go straight to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President J. P. Nadda, he claimed and said that he doesn’t need any brokers. However, the media listened to State Vice President Vijayendra and asked me the same thing over and over again, he alleged.

Not everyone in the party is naive or clean. Without naming anyone, he alleged that such people have now become ministers too.

M. Chandru from AAP has alleged that I had said that Rs. 2,500 Crore should be given to become Chief Minister in BJP. However, I said that there are political brokers in Delhi and Bengaluru and that such brokers are in all parties. Moreover, they are not confined to one party. Some ticket aspirants in Ramadurga, some in Bengaluru and Delhi have paid Rs. 2 to 3 crore and have been told that they will be given BJP tickets,” he alleged. Referring to this, I had told him to beware of such people,” he added.
