Bengaluru: As many as 30 drones participated in the first-ever drone competition held in at the palace grounds in the city on Friday night. Thousands of people attended the event to enjoy the race.
The race was held in an LED track constructed at height of 5 feet. The manufacturers and operators were asked to use the track to exhibit the features of their drones. Only drones weighing up to 300 grams were allowed to participate in the competition.
Inaugurating the race, IT minister K J George said that Bengaluru has now become an innovation hub of the country and the government will facilitate all modern facilities and ensure ease of doing business.
