Bengaluru: Ganesha fest, animal slaughter, meat sale banned

Bengaluru: Animal slaughter and sale of meat in the City has been banned on Wednesday August 31.

The order is issued by Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) The ban will be in force on Wednesday in the wake of Ganesha Chaturthi celebrations.

Ganesha Chaturthi is one of the most revered festival for the Hindus. The deity is offered pujas at homes and at public pandals too with all the traditional grandiose.
