Karnataka: Over 80K cases registered in Cyber Crime Portal

Bengaluru: As many as 80,379 cybercrime cases have been registered in National Crime Records from the State.

This detail was shared by Home Minister Araga Jnanendra.

He also informed that 528 FIRs were registered in connection with cybercrimes in the State.

“53,229 cases are under investigation in the State,” he explained.

The Minister also informed that in one year’s time, Rs.70 Crore fraud was stopped through early intervention by the police.
