Bengaluru: Producer-director Teshi Venkatesh announced that he will move to the court against the State Film Awards 2017, which was announced on Thursday evening.
His argument is that the awards are fixed at the Vidhana Soudha.
Speaking to the reporters in the city, Venkatesh who has directed several Kannada movies said that there is no value to talent and hard work.
“Those who worked really hard have been ignored by the selection committee. Instead, those who have good contacts in the power corridors have been selected for the award,” he alleged.
“No criteria is followed while selecting the best films and other awards. I will challenge this in the court of law,” he stated.
