Mangaluru: The election code of conduct has begun to hit not only the common man but also the political leaders. Yesterday only, C.M. Bommai’s vehicle and bags were checked as soon as he arrived at Dharmasthala constituency by helicopter. Following which the SST on April 13 (today) the team officials checked the car of Nalin Kumar Kateel and district president Sudarshan.

Officer Jayakeerthi H.B. and the team was on its way from Bengaluru to Mangaluru via Charmadi Ghat road with an Innova car with the state president and district president and five police security vehicles when they were stopped at charmadi check post and checked the car and then allowed to travel.

At Charmadi check post SST Officer Jayakeerthi H.B., Sukesh G., Dharmasthala Police personnel Manjunath, Sunil and CRPF personnel were present. The force personnel performed their duties.
