Mangaluru: Here is another instance of a youth doing something towards the progress of our society in India with a team that comes forward to spread awareness on road safety

Led by Athmika Amin and Salome Lobo Pereira, the team led a spiriterd rally by involving all those around in their vibrant demonstrations.

The youth of AJ Institute of Management also conducted a street play to educate the audience on the importance of following traffic rules and regulations for the sake of vehicles as well as pedestrians.

St Joseph’s college too made a contribution along with the MPM First Grade Government college with rallies and awareness sessions in the form of conversational spectacles to grab everyone’s attention.

There was also a contribution from the Thalir wing, where young children collaborated with the students of Sarbodaya higher primary school and Yenepoya Institute of Technology to spread awareness on building a safer road.

Some other participants here were the DKZP Higher Primary School, Kodical and SDM School, all of who came out as road safety warriors, addressing not just pedestrians and vehicle owners but cyclists too.

The SDM school even came forward with a drawing competition to bring about awareness on this topic. The competition saw more than 250 students who came forward to show their creativity in spreading awareness on road safety.

The program also saw a couple of community leaders, organizations, and people from the digital platform to provide the publicity that it needed. Of these, one cannot ignore the contribution by Mangalore Meri Jaan, one of the most digital creators in Mangalore till date.

The platform came up with a post that won it about 46 k followers. Overall, we can say that the program was a successful one with hoardings and performances which gave way to diverse messages on the topic of road safety.
