According to MP Chowta, the tender process has already been completed, and construction is slated to begin soon. As a key route for Karnataka, the Charmadi Ghat upgrade is expected to streamline travel for passengers in the coastal region and facilitate the transport of goods, further strengthening the area’s position as a commercial hub. MP Chowta extended his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, and other officials for prioritizing this essential infrastructure project.
