Mangaluru: St Aloysius College (Autonomous) in association with Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Intellectual Property Management (RGNIIPM), Government of India, Nagpur, Under National Intellectual Property Awareness Mission, organised a National Level Online Workshop on “Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) & Patents and Designs filing” on Jan 30 through hybrid Mode.
Dr Bharat N Suryawanshi, Assistant, Controller of Patents and Designs, RGNIIPM Nagpur, was the resource person for the day. Dr Bharat N Suryawanshi, spoke about what Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Patent, Inventions and Designing meant. He talked about how an individual can invent his/her own product and how the designing of the product must be done. He encouraged the participants to use their creativity to invent or design something and that you don’t have to have a particular degree to invent or design something.
About 470 participants took part in this workshop.
