New Delhi: The number of Covid – 19 cases in India has increased by 18,257 in a day to reach 4,36,22,651 cases in total so far, while the number of active cases rose to 1,28,690, stated data updated by the Union Health Ministry on Saturday July 9.
According to the data, the death count has climbed to 5,25,428 with 42 more people succumbing to the virus. The Ministry reported that the national Covid – 19 recovery rate was recorded at 98.50 per cent, while the active cases make up 0.30 per cent of total infections.
It also stated that the weekly positivity rate was 4.09 per cent and the daily positivity rate was 4.14 per cent.
