Bagalakote: “Kannadigas should first love and respect Kannada language. It is unfortunate that the mother tongue is being forgotten due to the obsession with English language for the sake of prestige,” said Dr. Chandramouli Naikar.
He was speaking at the valedictory function of Nudi Vaibhava – 2022 organised by Kannada Sahitya and Samskruthika Vedike at Byranahatti Doreswamy Virakta Matha. “It is heartening to note that the Government has expressed its willingness to offer many professional courses like Medical and Engineering in Kannada language. Kannada is not just a language, it is a great strength, he noted.
He said that all Kannadigas should leave their caste, creed and religion and come together and guard the borders of Karnataka like warriers.
