Tumakuru: “Though i welcome the issue of increase in internal reservation in the Sadashiva Commission report by the State Government, it is an election gimmick, said Former Deputy Chief Minister and MLA Dr. G. Parameshwara.
He was speaking to reporters at a Tourist Hims in Koratagere Town here. “The demand for internal reservation was there even in the beginning of our then Coalition Government. It is true that the report of the Sadashiva Commission was with the the Government, but a decision that was not taken for four years why the State Government took now is my question,” he said.
He said it is an election gimmick and if it is seen legally, i don’t know how to justify reservation.
