Moodbidri, January 2026: The Army Recruiting Office, Mangaluru, in coordination with the civil administration, will conduct an Agniveer Recruitment Rally at Swaraj Maidana, Moodbidri, Dakshina Kannada, from January 30 to February 10, 2026. The rally is being organised for shortlisted candidates from 11 districts of Karnataka who have qualified in the online Common Entrance Examination (CEE). The recruitment drive forms part of the Agnipath scheme of the Indian Army and is aimed at enrolling eligible youth into various Agniveer categories based on merit and performance. Districts covered under the rally Candidates shortlisted from the following districts of Karnataka are eligible to attend the rally at Moodbidri: Bagalkot Vijayapura Dharwad Uttara Kannada Dakshina Kannada Udupi Davanagere Gadag Haveri Chikkamagaluru Shivamogga Only those applicants who have qualified in the Online Common Entrance Exam (CEE) conducted between June 30 and July 10, 2025, will be permitted to participate in the rally as per the scheduled dates. Categories of Agniveer recruitment The rally will be conducted for enrolment into multiple Agniveer categories, including: Agniveer General Duty (GD) Agniveer Technical Agniveer Clerk / Store Keeper Technical Agniveer Tradesman (10th pass) Agniveer Tradesman (8th pass) The age limits, educational qualifications, physical standards, and other eligibility criteria for each category are as specified in the official rally notification issued by the Army Recruiting Office, Mangaluru, on March 11, 2025. Admit cards and result details The results of the online Common Entrance Exam have already been published on the official website joinindianarmy.nic.in. Admit cards have been issued to shortlisted candidates and can be accessed by logging into individual accounts using registered email IDs on the Join Indian Army portal. Candidates have been advised to carefully check the reporting date, time, and instructions mentioned on their admit cards and ensure compliance with all guidelines during the rally. Warning against touts and intermediaries Army authorities have strongly cautioned candidates not to fall prey to touts or intermediaries promising selection or assistance. Officials reiterated that the recruitment process is completely transparent and selection will be based solely on: Performance in the online CEE Physical and written tests conducted during the recruitment rally Final merit list No agent or middleman can influence the selection process in any manner. Transparent and merit-based selection The Agniveer Recruitment Rally at Moodbidri is expected to witness participation from a large number of eligible youth from across Karnataka. Officials stated that all arrangements are being made to ensure smooth conduct of the rally with proper coordination between the Army and the district administration. Candidates have been advised to report strictly as per the schedule, carry all required original documents, and follow instructions issued by the recruiting authorities. The rally is seen as an important opportunity for young aspirants from coastal and central Karnataka to serve the nation by joining the Indian Army under the Agnipath scheme.
