Mangaluru: An officers’ meet regarding facilitating drinking water 24/7 across Mangalore City Corporation under Jalasiri Project was held on Tuesday July 13. The meet was organised under the leadership of MCC Mayor Premananda Shetty and MLA Vedavyas Kamath.
The discussions were held on providing 24/7 water supply to five zones under MCC of Mangaluru City Corporation on experimental basis. Mayor instructed the officers to examine water pipeline, especially supply pipeline that while carrying out concretisation of roads under Smart City and other projects. The officers were asked to hold Project Development Review meeting every 15 days.
Deputy Mayor Sumangala and Akshy Sridhar, Commissioner, MCC were present.
