Shivamogga: The BJP has finally announced its ticket from Shivamogga City Constituency. K. E. Kanthesh, who was aspiring for a ticket, did not get the ticket.
The BJP has given ticket to Channabasappa for Shivamogga city constituency. This has naturally disappointed the supporters of Former Minister Eshwarappa.
Former Minister Eshwarappa said that the BJP has given ticket to Channabasappa from Shivamogga City Constituency. He has been selected by the party High commzand. I stand by the party’s decision. No one can question the choice of the superiors. I will not sit idle till Chennabasappa wins, he said.
“The party will take a decision on giving Kantesh a suitable status after seeing his performance in the coming days. It’s not over today. The party leaders have weighed everything and taken a decision,” he said.
