Bengaluru: State Congress Leaders are using the BJP National Leadership’s strategy locally to win the next Assembly election.
According to Party sources, the Party will reserve 30 constituencies for defectors from other parties. A decision in this regard was taken at the ongoing Party Screening Committee Meeting.
According to the sources, party is hoping at least 25 strong leaders from BJP and 5 from JDS to join the party ahead of the next election. Party has decided to accommodate them citing winnability as the factor.
According to sources, party has decided to announce candidates for 150 constituencies at the earliest to enable the candidates to launch campaign.
