Bengaluru: Police arrested a man for possessing 1.8 kg gold and Rs. 22 lakh cash without proper documents on the night of Tuesday and Wednesday November 30.
The man was seen roaming the City with a bag while in an inebriated state. He tried to flee as soon as he saw the police officers. Police detained him and questioned him.
According to sources, he was charged with theft as he was unable to provide receipts for the items that had been seized.
