Hubballi: An auto-rickshaw driver demonstrated honesty and returned a forgotten mobile phone to the police station, ensuring it was returned to its rightful owners.
The incident involved Gangadhar Indi, the auto-rickshaw driver, who had picked up a female passenger from the new bus stand and dropped her off at Shakti Nagar. Unfortunately, the passengers left their mobile phones behind in the auto. Upon discovering the forgotten phone when he returned home, Gangadhar promptly took action.
In a commendable display of humanity, Gangadhar, along with Hanamanthappa Pavade, the president of the auto drivers’ association, and fellow auto drivers Raju Kalavada and Ameet, approached the Gokul Road police station. With the assistance of the police, they contacted the passengers and returned their lost mobile phones.
