Shivamogga: Police raided a resort in Tirthahalli in Shivamogga taluk and recovered a illegal a double-barrel gun valued at Rs. 25 thousand, an assortment of 310 live bullets, a sword, a knife, 3 wild horn trophies, 6 deer horn trophies, a 1 cc DVR (Digital Video Recorder), 51 beer tins, foreign liquor bottles with an estimated worth of 1 lakh, 6 breathing apparatus bottles, and 3 liters of illicit liquor.
The raid conducted by Deputy Superintendent of Police Gajanana Vamana Sutara and Theerthahalli Police Inspector Aswath Gowda, Sub-Inspector (PSI) Sagarada Attarawala, Malur PSI Naveen Kumar Mathapathy, Agumbe PSI Ranganath Antaragatti, and Rippanpet PSI Praveen with 50 police personnel.
Police told acting on tip off they carried large scale operation and recovered the illegal items. A case registered against resort owner and manager and investigation is on.
