Bengaluru: Youth Empowerment and Sports Minister K. C. Narayana Gowda, first BJP MLA from Mandya District is likely to join Congress.
Gowda is the District In-Charge Minister of Shivamogga District.
According to the sources, he is likely to contest as a Congress candidate from KR Pete Constituency in the upcoming State Assembly election.
“It is true that I have received invitation from Congress,” he said.
He informed that he will take a decision on joining Congress after consulting with his supporters.
Meanwhile, two JDS MLAs from Hassan District i.e. K. M. Shivalinge Gowda, and A. T. Ramaswamy also are joining Congress.
Ahead of the Assembly election Congress is now able to create a wave in its favour in the State through these surprise developments.
