Bengaluru: Unable to accept that Kannada Star Sudeep has endorsed the Party committed to social justice BJP, the Congress State In-Charge Randeep Surjewala has made baseless statements about misuse of investigative agencies.
This is an irresponsible statement made to score political points, said BJP State General Secretary Siddaraju and added that it was an insult to the ST Community and an insult to Kannada artistes.
Considering the help rendered by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai during difficult times, Sudeep said that he is supporting Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and the BJP out of respect for him. Sudeep, who comes from the ST Nayaka Community is aligning with a party that stands for social justice and inclusive development, he said.
The threat letter that was sent to Sudeep with the intent to deter him, has not had the desired effect. Perhaps this has forced Surjewala to resort to making such allegations. The BJP strongly condemns these statements, which are not only an insult to the ST Nayaka Community but also an act of demeaning cine artists, he alleged.
