Bidar: In accordance with the guidance of senior officials, on September 23, 2023, during the backdrop of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival, the respected district authorities had issued a Dry Day proclamation.
It has come to light that the New City Police in Bidar, under the leadership of Police Superintendent Mr. P. I. Shri Vijayakumar, along with his team, conducted raids and confiscated various quantities of alcoholic beverages.
According to the information, they seized alcohol worth an estimated 83,553 rupees, along with two mobile phones valued at 13,000 rupees, resulting in a total of 96,553 rupees. Legal proceedings have been initiated against the accused in this case.
