‘Paigham-E-Rasool’ programme held in Oman

Oman: Indian Pravasi Forum, Salalah – Oman organized Paigham-E-Rassol (pbuh) on January 29. Suhas Alkemajalu, president of Indian Pravasi Forum, Salalah presided over the programme, which was held at the Conference Hall of Qadri at Sanayya.
Mufti Haneef Ahrar Qasimi, General Secretary of All India Imam Council, while addressing the gathering explained how the prophet (pbuh) campaigned to unite all groups of Bedouins/Pagans and was able to bring together in a single row at the prayer in the masjids of Makka and Madina.

This campaign of the prophet is the all time model for Muslims. He also focused on contemporary issues of Indian Muslims and urged to pledge to develop the community in all directions.  In his key note address, he pointed out to have a vision for the better future now itself and have unity in diversity.

Dr. Akram Ali (President of Indian Social Club, Urdu Wing, Salalah) and Dr. Khader Nawaz, Asst. Professor in Dhofar University spoke to the audience. Shakeel (Indian Social Club, Kannada Wing, Salalah), Noushad (General secretary, Social Forum, Kerala Chapter, Salalah) and Fairoz (President of Social Forum, Karnataka Chapter, Salalah) were present on the dais.

Prizes were distributed to the winners of the sports and games held for children and women on January 22 in the parks of Assa’a.
