New Delhi: In the capital’s Tigri area, a 21-year-old man lost his life in a stabbing incident on Wednesday, allegedly due to a dispute over Rs 3,000. A video of the incident circulated on social media, showing the accused, Shahrukh, repeatedly stabbing the victim, Yusuf, outside a shop.
Upon receiving a PCR call in the morning, the Tigri police station responded to the scene, and Yusuf Ali was immediately taken to the hospital, where he was declared dead.
Yusuf’s father, Sahid Ali, informed the police that his son had been threatened by Shahrukh regarding a financial matter a few days prior. Apparently, Yusuf had borrowed Rs 3,000 from Shahrukh, who had been demanding repayment.
The accused, Shahrukh, also faced retaliation and was admitted to the hospital after being beaten by people on the road in response to the stabbing incident.
Based on the complaint filed by the victim’s father, the police will proceed to register a case in connection with this tragic incident.
