Meghana Raj finds herself back on set, shooting in a quaint village on the outskirts of Mangaluru, and she’s elated to be back under the spotlight, where she truly feels she belongs. Following her return from motherhood, her first film is poised to grace the screens in a fortnight. In the meantime, she has already begun shooting for her second project.
Having shared screen space with several leading men in the industry, Meghana reflects on her upcoming roles. “In this second phase, I’m once again paired with some of these leading actors. I worked alongside Prajwal in my upcoming film, and this time I’m sharing the screen with Srinagar Kitty, whom I previously acted with in Bahuparak. Working with familiar faces always creates a comfortable environment,” Meghana remarks with a smile.
The film falls within the slice-of-life genre, a category that resonates well with the actor’s preferences, and therefore, she readily accepted the role. She explains, “I must mention that this storyline won’t be emotionally taxing for me, as it’s a light-hearted tale that allows me to perform effortlessly.”
The movie narrates a tale of friendship and love, focusing on the bond between Lakshmi (portrayed by Meghana) and Ramesh (played by Kitty). The project is being helmed by director Vinay Preetam.
